Cali Vaca Day #6

On this day, Janice, Joyce, Mom and I went to a taping of the Ellen Degeneres Show. We left early to make sure we got there on time. We were early so we went to lunch at a restaurant right by the studio. It was one of those places you see on tv or in the movies where celebrities hang out at. We didn't mean to overhear but the guy behind us was talking about his future job with the pilot episode of a series based on "Twilight". After lunch, we headed back and then proceeded to do the waiting game for the show. Standing in line, getting security checked, watch an Ellen Show, fill out a survey, and wait in line to go to the restroom. We also purchased some Ellen water from Manny (the man who balances everything on his head). Once we were ushered across the road and into the studio, we waited in line again. Finally, we made it onto the set. It looked the same as on tv. We were told where to sit, the right of Ellen, 6 rows up, right by Tony the DJ. The played a lot of games with the audience before Ellen came out. We of course then got up and danced when Ellen came out. It was all a lot of fun. We watched her interview Meredith from the Today Show and Princess Olivia from "House". It went fast but we were glad we got to go. The show we were in the audience for was aired here on Monday. I watched it and only got a glimpse of Joyce and I dancing together.
After the show, we drove back to meet the guys and kids at Buca's to have dinner with our relatives because it was their last night in town. The girls slept through dinner, which was nice but I missed them while I was gone. So, because of Ellen we didn't take too many photos this day, but wait for day #7 I picked up the camera again!!!
As a side note: We reached 1000 people reading our blog in the last month, ever since I put the counter on the bottom of the page on the 7th of February. We would love to get to know those who read our blog. If you have the time please post a comment with your name and if you have a blog too we would love to read it as well. Thanks for all the interest and I hope you enjoy seeing the girls grow!!!
