A Lazy Afternoon Outside with Mommy & Daddy

Baylee (L) and Amelia (R) laying around on a lazy afternoon at the park across the street from our house!

Baylee thinks Mommy is hilarious blowing tons of bubbles with their bubble gun!

Amelia is wondering if she should take a taste of her sister. What is not pictured is Baylee trying to rip Amelia's hair out, so Amelia is wondering if she should pay her sister back!!!

A Great Night for a Picnic at Rich Valley Park

Before Daddy and Auntie Alexis left for work, they asked what we were going to do for dinner. Mommy said since it was a nice Friday night, we would go on a picnic. Mommy then called all her sisters and invited them too. Mommy made potato salad, jello salad (yes, Auntie Julie hates jello, but Davis loves it), some dips, and the makings for sandwiches. Mommy got everything made and packed up by the time everyone was home from work. We then loaded up in the car and met Auntie Julie, Uncle Craig, Cousin Davis, Auntie Janice, Cousin Brianna and Cousin Zoey at Rich Valley Park. Here are some snapshots of the fun!
Amelia and Baylee share a swing. There were only two baby swings, Davy wanted to swing too!
Davis just swingin' away!
Brianna begging Craig for an underdog!
Zoey wants a turn on the swing too!
Cousin Brianna holds Baylee while Auntie Alexis holds Amelia on the teeter totter! The girls had fun trying out the swings, teeter totter and slides. Amelia was awake this time so she got to slide down the slides with Auntie Alexis and Daddy!

Easter Afternoon at Oakwood Park

After lunch, we went for a walk to the local park with Auntie Julie, Uncle Craig, Cousin Davis, Cousin Cindy and Auntie Alexis. Amelia fell asleep on the way there, but not our wild girl Baylee. She had her first experience on slides, swings and monkey bars!

Amelia sleeping at the park!

Baylee takes a swing with Mommy for the first time. She loved it! Daddy swings with us!

Stopping for a photo op!

Big smiles from Miss Baylee! "Swing more, Mommy!"

Daddy just a swingin'!!!

Uncle Craig holds Baylee as she goes up for her first time down the slide. Uncle Craig thinks it's funny to put Baylee's tushy in Auntie Alexis face. LOL!

Ready to go Daddy!

She loved it! As you can see, she is all smiles on her second trip down!

Our little "monkey" on the bars!

Irish Family Easter Egg Hunt

Before the hunting begins, they were all ready to get going not to pose for a photo!

Auntie Alexis joined us for the egg hunt and lunch. Here she is helping Baylee find her Easter eggs.

Look Amelia and Daddy found some yummy baby food. Mommy thinks Amelia looks a lot like Daddy in this photo.
Baylee and Auntie Alexis find the "Golden Egg". She got $5!!
Daddy and Amelia stop to pose for Mommy!
All the Irish grandchildren posing with their filled baskets. It was a lot of fun and we wondered Auntie Janice found some eggs later that week in her back yard!

Finally! Visit w/ the Easter Bunny, Easter Morning and our 7 month photo!

The girls hanging out in their stroller waiting to see the Easter Bunny at the MOA!

Amelia (left), Baylee (right) and the Easter Bunny!

Baylee and her Easter basket! She thought the princess cutouts were something to eat. She did eventually pull out the puffs so she could suck on her swimsuit! She liked to hold the eggs and threw a couple too! She was not happy when we took them away from her when she wanted to suck on the colored eggs!
Amelia went right for the puffs. They haven't had any yet, we think the Easter Bunny was smart and didn't bring them candy. You can see the Easter Bunny brought Amelia a new swimsuit for the summer. Amelia loved the princess cutouts but didn't want to hold an egg, she looked at it like it as if to say "I am not holding that thing, yuck!"

Here is our 7 Month Olds sitting in the chair for their monthly photo! It just happened to fall on Easter, so we are all decked out in our Easter dresses. Mommy loves the dresses because they remind her of wearing gingham when she was little!

Lovely Baylee!

Sweet Amelia!

Waiting for a new power source for our laptop

We wanted to let everyone know that we are waiting on a new power source for our laptop so we can update the blog with photos. It has been hard not having our computer to use. We are using our new roommates computer to do this update. Auntie Alexis moved in with us for a limited time due to some scary events. It is fun having her here. The girls light up every morning when they see her, it is like they can't figure out if she just got there or not.

The girls have been doing well. Here is a brief update on each girl...

Amelia Jule- Amelia had to deal with double ear infections from her cold a few weeks back. She has been chatting up a storm and all over the house, rolling here, scooting there. Her little personality sure is showing itself. She tries to fight us at bedtime, she thinks she needs to be rocked to sleep, mommy has been letting her cry, it usually only lasts 5 minutes. She must know her mommy is more stubborn than her. When she was at the doctor last week for her ear infections, she weighed 16 pounds 5 ounces. She is getting to look older and older every day :(, can't they stay babies forever. Her favorite toy right now is the talking Care Bears. She loves to be outside. This week she got to go on a playground swing and slides. She enjoyed both. She is doing well and we absolutely adore her.

Baylee Joy- Baylee is dealing with really bad acid reflux that is causing her to have strider. We took her in to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to have a scope put down her nose to look. She has very bad acid reflux that has caused some damage above the vocal cords. They have prescribed a stronger medicine, to help heal and prevent more. She weighed 16 pounds 3 ounces at the doctor's office. She has been getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. We are sure it won't be long. She is our wild one. She always wants to be on the go. She has formed a huge attachment to her Mommy. Mommy can't leave the room, she thinks she has to be with her at all times. This is hard. She gets jealous if Mommy holds Amelia, but Mommy says she has to get over that. She is a little cuddle bug and loves to laugh at everything, even when her cousins are getting in trouble she laughs and thinks they are funny. Is this a sign of what's to come?? She is a joy and we adore her.

We are hoping the power source will come soon, so expect photos. Have a great day!

Been Busy-Here's the newest news!

This has been a VERY long week. Amelia had started with a small cold that lead to a visit to the doctor to find out she has double ear infections. She never runs fevers with her ear infections, so it is hard to know, she is always so happy. Our clue was her neediness and pulling on her ears. The day we went to the doctor Baylee started throwing up. Amelia caught it the next day. So the flu has reared it's ugly head again. We also have a new roommate for a couple months, Auntie Alexis is going to stay with us. So those are the reasons we haven't posted and our laptop charger is broken!

Here are the girls at G & G Nguyen's house laughing at their Cousin Nicholas!

The girls got to visit with Great Aunt Joan and Cousin Cindy again!
Baylee being changed for the 4th time! She is smiling even though she has thrown up 4 times!

Amelia sleeping in the pack and play with her favorite dolly. She always has breathing problems when she has a cold so back in the pack in play in Mommy and Daddy's room!

The girls love to sit and talk to each other. Smiles!!!
